At Wacker Biotech, as part of Wacker Chemie AG, we specialize in the production of biopharmaceuticals. Our four dedicated and fast-growing production sites are based in Germany, The Netherlands, and The United States. We are looking for a highly skilled IT Coordinator to join our team in Amsterdam.

About the Role

This challenging international position offers a unique opportunity to work in a professional and informal working environment. As an IT Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted availability of the Wacker Biotech Amsterdam IT infrastructure.

  • Day-to-day monitoring and managing of the IT Network Systems and Services and providing support and troubleshooting as needed
  • Ensuring that the IT Network Systems and services continue to meet business needs and comply with GMP requirements and Wacker Corporate guidelines for IT- and OT-security
  • Cooperating with and coordinating the activities of Managed Service IT Partners, Wacker Global IT Teams

You will contribute to Digitalization and Continuous Improvement initiatives both within IT and other parts of the organization. This includes developing and supporting IT solutions that meet business needs while adhering to Wacker Global and local IT- and OT-Governance standards.

The successful candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in an IT environment with technical and project skills. A HBO degree in Information Technology is required. You should have up-to-date knowledge of Windows IT Network Systems and IT- and OT security. Knowledge of SAP 4.0 is highly appreciated.
