Job Description

This internship opportunity is part of our COO Sustainability team, which contributes to ING's Global sustainability strategy. As an intern, you will support activities related to climate action in banking operations processes and help accelerate prioritization and actions in countries to reduce our environmental footprint.

Main Tasks
  • Collect and analyze environmental footprint data to inform business decisions
  • Support colleagues in improving our environmental footprint through campaigns and initiatives
  • Integrate climate action objectives into COO Banking operations
  • Manage and develop the internal COO Sustainability Intranet community
  • Provide administrative support to COO Green Guild meetings, events, and project coordination activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master student with high interest in Sustainability/ Sustainable Development, Banking Operations, Data Analysis, Communication, and societal issues
  • Strong organizational/project management skills
  • Problem analysis and judgment
  • Ability to work in an international environment
  • High ambition/ energy level
  • Teamwork
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in business English required, oral proficiency in Dutch preferred
