We are seeking a Senior Media Manager who will oversee the media strategy and execution in Austria and Belgium. This position requires a deep understanding of our business challenges, consumer insights, and the ability to develop effective media strategies tailored to your markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily planning and execution of media campaigns within your designated countries.
- Clearly communicate these strategies and plans to broader teams in an engaging manner.
- Take ownership of specific budget allocations for your markets and be accountable for media performance outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with Regional Marketing teams to identify local business challenges and opportunities, translating them into clear agency briefs and strategies.
- Act as the primary liaison for the Media agency in your regions, inspiring the team to deliver outstanding media plans while challenging their strategic thinking and execution.
- Engage in detailed commercial negotiations with media vendors alongside the Media agency, ensuring the best outcomes.
- As a media specialist, work in tandem with our award-winning Brand team to ensure campaigns are supported by the optimal media mix for maximum impact.
- Leverage insights from the Insights team to understand market trends and consumer behavior, aiding in the prediction of trends and campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with our in-house Digital team responsible for purchasing digital media, ensuring a cohesive media strategy and plans for your markets.
- Stay informed about the latest media trends and articulate key opportunities to the wider marketing community, providing insights and guidance without unnecessary jargon.
- In addition to your market responsibilities, you will have the chance to lead projects on behalf of the entire Global Media team.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in Media management.
- Proven ability to plan and execute multimedia campaigns from start to finish.
- Fluent in English.
- Demonstrated experience managing high-budget media campaigns, whether from a brand or agency perspective, with involvement in key stages of the media buying process (strategy, planning, buying, reporting).
- A skilled negotiator, capable of using your influencing abilities to secure favorable deals for your organization.
- A strategic thinker who can view the bigger picture while understanding the details of media's impact on key business metrics.
- Strong communication skills, adaptable to the expertise level of your audience.
- An analytical mindset, willing to delve into the specifics of a media plan and thoroughly evaluate performance.
