About the job
As a Process Development Engineer, you will drive process improvements in our global Cellulose Ethers plants. You will be responsible for managing capacity expansion and cost productivity investments (CAPEX) projects, as well as participating in commissioning and start-up of these plants to realize growth projects.
Your responsibilities will include
- Acting as project leader/manager in initiation and study phase of medium-sized multi-disciplinary technology projects and investment projects in an international context.
- Providing high-level cost estimates for potential growth projects and being responsible for technology expertise within Cellulosic Derivatives.
- Leading commissioning and start-up of new or optimized plants under time pressure in a 24/7 complex production environment.
- Acting as technology licensor and/or lead process engineer in capex projects.
- Actively pursuing and participating in improving current technologies and identifying new technologies.
- Participating as process engineer in Hazard Studies.
What we offer
- A permanent contract with a probationary period of 2 months.
- A gross basic annual salary including holiday allowance based on your knowledge and experience between EUR 65,112 and EUR 98,247.
