Position SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to become a vital part of our maintenance team. This position involves ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our diverse machinery fleet. A strong mechanical background, along with a good grasp of electrical systems, will be essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery, such as packaging equipment, automated picking systems, forklifts, cutting tools, and conveyor systems.
- Implement preventive maintenance strategies to guarantee optimal machine performance and reduce the likelihood of failures.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues to determine the underlying causes of malfunctions.
- Execute repairs and replace defective parts promptly to ensure minimal downtime.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to establish and follow maintenance schedules and protocols.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance tasks, including repairs, inspections, and inventory management.
- Comply with safety standards and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery, including packaging machines, automated systems, forklifts, cutting machines, and conveyor belts.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
- Strong diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues effectively.
- Experience in executing repairs and managing component replacements in a timely manner.
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively within a maintenance team.
- Attention to detail in maintaining accurate maintenance records.
