The Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineer Systems Analysis to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating system models for complex naval vessels, describing their functional behaviour, and ensuring traceability of requirements through Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). You will guide project teams in systems analysis and modelling processes, support tool integration, and assist in modelling functionality and requirements.

Key Accountabilities
  • Define and update the systems analysis and modelling processes.
  • Maintain the Systems Modelling Management plan, detailing the process.
  • Actively engage with and provide support to various modelling and design teams.
  • Assist in the requirements engineering process and the V&V process.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, preferably in (naval) shipbuilding.
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles.
  • Experience with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) and requirements engineering.
  • Knowledge of the Arcadia Method and experience with CAPELLA (or equivalent MBSE) tools.
  • Experience with IBM Rational DOORS is a plus.
  • Key competencies: team-player, conscientious, communicative, proactive, and planning-oriented.
  • Mastery of the English language, both written and verbal. The ability to read German is considered a plus.
  • Excellent antecedents because a pre-employment security screening is a standard part of the recruitment procedure.
  • Permanent multiyear EU citizenship combined with permanent EU work visa are all requirements of the recruitment process for viable candidates, given the military nature of clients and projects.
