Job Title: Engagement Manager

The Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business development and consulting activities. This role combines business acumen with consulting expertise to deliver exceptional results. As a trusted advisor to clients and a strong people developer within the team, the Engagement Manager is responsible for driving business growth and delivering high-quality projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with current and new clients, aligning with the company's strategic objectives. Develop trusted client partnerships and drive commercial success through effective budget management.
  • Project Delivery: Lead and manage projects to achieve measurable results, focusing on deliverables, milestones, quality, duration, budget, and resources. Develop and guide junior team members on projects, and create relevant content, tools, and methodologies as needed.
  • People Management: Manage and develop consultants on project teams or within the company, providing training and coaching. Participate in the recruitment of new consultants and contribute to their growth and development.
  • Corporate Involvement: Act as a company ambassador, both externally and internally. Lead or participate in internal expert communities, promote company events, and develop and deliver internal trainings.
  • Requirements:
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in consulting and/or a fast-paced environment, preferably in the Life Sciences industry and/or on Digitalization projects.
    • Proven experience and strong skills in consulting project delivery, business development, and people management, with excellent presentation and communication skills.
    • Strong commercial acumen, a strong leadership spirit, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
    • Master's Degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or Management.
    • Fluency in English and Dutch.
