Job Overview
As a Business Controller, your primary responsibility will be to develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to CLIQ.de, our new all-in-one streaming service. You will work closely with the operational teams, providing critical financial sparring support and advising on strategic decisions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as the critical financial sparring partner between the finance department and operational teams;
- Develop and monitor KPIs, particularly related to CLIQ.de;
- Continuously improve gross margin reporting, focusing on revenue, advertising, and licensing;
- Assist in preparing the annual budget and monthly rolling forecast process;
- Identify and report deviations between actuals and budget;
- Review and report on key performance indicators of the company;
- Prepare and review new business and investment cases for new markets, services, content propositions, and opportunities;
- Monitor and report on profitability of marketing campaigns;
About You
We're looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in a financial, accounting, or economics field and 3-5+ years of relevant work experience. You should possess out-of-the-box thinking, initiative, and a 'nothing-is-impossible' mindset. Your excellent Excel and data analysis skills, combined with strong written and verbal communication abilities in English, will enable you to thrive in our fast-paced environment.
What We Offer
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of €65,000 - €85,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience, plus a range of benefits, including lunch, snacks, coffee, Friday Drinks, gym access, laptop, and screens for office and/or remote work. Our headquarters is based in Düsseldorf, with offices in Amsterdam, London, Paris, Barcelona, and Tequesta, Florida.
