Job Description

CheckMark Labrecruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Service Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our Technical Services sub-team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating European Technical Service activities and contributing to the development and execution of our European Technical Service strategy.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Field Service Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating complex purchase and installation of analytical systems at customer sites, including system setup, user training, and qualification;
  • Providing customer technical support, including resolving complex troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance;
  • Coordinating onsite measurement projects in collaboration with Sales and Laboratory staff;
  • Participating in change reviews related to critical issues and approving quality documentation;
  • Monitoring European Technical Services team targets and reporting of team progress to the Global Technical Service Manager;
  • Training of (new) colleagues on Technical Service tasks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A HBO degree in Chemistry or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technical Product Specialist, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry (or related);
  • Experience with cGLP/cGMP is a plus;
  • Strong people and project management skills, experience in a leadership role is a plus;
  • Ability to communicate complex technical details to technical and non-technical specialists;
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and passport;
  • Place of residence in or near Amsterdam and you are permitted to work in The Netherlands;
  • Willingness to travel within Europe up to 30% of working days;
  • Fluent interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Dutch. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
What We Offer

We offer a long-term position, which starts with a contract for one year directly at the hiring company. The salary indication is starting from € 3300,- gross a month, depending on experience. The work week is 40 hours, and the position is a day-shift.
