Pregis Europe seeks a highly skilled Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Financial Manager to join its team. This role is responsible for overseeing the financial transactions related to incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, timely collections, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial processes, GAAP principles, and reconciliation techniques. They will be proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and MS Office Suite (Excel). Experience in managing a small finance team is preferred, as well as prior experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Operations: Manage financial transactions, ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies, and reconcile supplier statements.
- Vendor and Customer Management: Process vendor invoices, generate and send invoices to customers, and monitor customer accounts for overdue payments.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support a team of 4 finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prior experience managing a small finance team is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and MS Office Suite (Excel).
- Strong understanding of financial processes, GAAP principles, and reconciliation techniques.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
