Manufacturing Engineer Outfitting Specialist

As a Manufacturing Engineer Outfitting at Damen Naval, you will play a key role in maximizing efficiency and effectiveness by analyzing equipment layout, workflow, and assembly methods for the construction portion of site production.
Key Responsibilities- Develop detailed work instructions for production employees.
- Manage Material Take-Off (MTO) and prepare production drawings.
- Provide engineering information packages and tooling instructions.
- Prepare specifications for subcontracting and manage raw material orders.
- Indicate quality controls according to the testing and inspection plan.
- Control the workflow of the structural manufacturing process.
- Work within established limits for time, budget, and quality.
- Communicate clearly within the organization.
- Identify deficiencies and suggest improvements to management.
- A professional education (MBO 4) in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- A complete understanding of all production phases.
- Experience with production, engineering, and/or design software such as SAP, 3DX, Teamcenter, and Cadmatic/Inventor.
- Good command of English and Dutch language (both written and oral).
- 25 vacation days.
- 0.19 cents per Km.
- A good work-from-home policy.
