To mitigate this impact, we are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to lead our efforts in developing circular PV technologies. Our team is part of a winning bid for three European Projects focused on advancing silicon solar cells, and we aim to contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions.
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will work closely with Malte Vogt and Olindo Isabella in the Photovoltaic Materials and Devices (PVMD) group, part of the Electrical Sustainable Energy (ESE) department. Our research focuses on accelerating the energy transition towards sustainable energy, and we are committed to climate action. You will contribute to the flagship project 'Materials for Circular Renewable Energy Technologies' and work on life cycle assessment, supply, and circularity evaluation for PV technologies.
Requirements- PhD degree in physics, chemistry, material science, industrial ecology, or a related field
- Expertise in life cycle assessment, material supply evaluation, or circularity of PV modules
- Publications in relevant research journals
- Experience in guiding students' thesis projects
- Ability to work independently and self-driven in a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills in English
Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities. TU Delft offers a customizable compensation package, discounts on health insurance, and a monthly work costs contribution. Flexible work schedules can be arranged.
