About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Consulting Associate to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our sustainability consulting team, you will be responsible for leading sustainability engagement with large and high-profile clients, primarily investors, property companies, and global companies occupying real estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Drive business growth in the Netherlands by implementing and activating the EMEA sustainability consulting go-to-market strategy. Collaborate closely with local JLL teams and EMEA Sustainability Solution teams to engage with clients and develop and nurture client relationships.
  • Project Management: Project manage the delivery of several client projects or tasks, ensuring a professional relationship and the effective delivery of sustainability services to time and budget.
  • Consulting Delivery: Understand client's sustainability needs and ambitions, undertaking materiality and peer reviews, and leading stakeholder engagement to develop and support the creation of compelling visions and strategies.
  • Thought Leadership: Create thought leadership pieces for communication, to enhance client offerings, and ensure the team remain at the forefront of emerging thinking.
  • Ethics: Understand the organisation's behavioural, moral, ethical and compliance standards & requirements, adhere to and demonstrate highest regard to these in all situations when interacting with customers, clients, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in the sustainability and/or consultancy
  • Strategic individual with customer centric mindset
  • Specialist knowledge in sustainability
  • Strong communication skills, with track record of working with Senior / C-Level stakeholders in client organisations.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to take ownership of client deliverable, to ensure alignment of multiple internal stakeholders and to meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ideally experience developing holistic solutions in a business context
  • Excellent team-working, and ability to contribute towards a positive team dynamic
  • Some experience working with Real Estate investors or occupiers - preferable but not essential
  • Excellent computer and information system skills; in particular Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in both English and Dutch, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
