Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented student to join our team as a Student Management Assistant Research Support at Amsterdam UMC. As a key member of our Research Policy Office, you will provide administrative support to our team of policy advisors and contribute to the execution of research policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Research Policy Office team, including planning meetings, managing agendas, and drafting correspondence.
  • Assist policy advisors with the implementation of research policy, including the Amsterdam UMC Fellowship, research discussions with the Research and Development Board, and the evaluation of professorship profiles.
  • Support the team with organizational tasks, such as coordinating events and managing documents.

Requirements

  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office programs.
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
  • Previous experience in an organizational role.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and excellent communication skills.

About the Team

You will be working in the Research Support department, a staff department of the Research Support service, where various organizational units collaborate to support researchers and create an environment in which they can excel. The Research Policy Office team consists of four policy advisors and is led by a member of the Research Support management team. You will support the policy advisors with administrative tasks and, depending on your interest, contribute to the implementation of research policy.
