About the Role
As a Design Engineer Safety Specialist at ASML, you will be part of a multidisciplinary product development team that designs and improves the safety system and alignment strategy of the source laser modules in the EUV Source. Your primary focus will be on ensuring human safety, machine safety, and compliance while making the system operator-friendly, stable, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the multidisciplinary team that works on the source laser.
- Work collaboratively with junior and senior subject matter experts to define solution directions for main challenges related to the source laser.
- Implement system requirements in modules within the source laser and ensure the design process is followed.
- Contribute to a long-term vision and automation roadmap.
- Execute and document tests and investigations according to ASML guidelines.
- Provide inputs to interfacing projects and other stakeholders of the team.
- Develop a deep understanding of the operation principle of the complex optical system.
- Drive decisions while staying aligned in a complex stakeholder field.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to bring together complex work.
- Maintain a strong focus on structural improvement and quality.
- Effectively communicate technical and managerial information in English.
- Embody a creative, pragmatic, self-propelling, and can-do mentality.
- Act as a team player, amplifying and making effective use of the creativity and problem-solving power in the team.
