As a License Specialist at Inter IKEA Group, you will play a critical role in securing, managing, and optimizing software licensing agreements to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness. You will act as a specialist in software licensing, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders, and developing relationships with software partners and system owners to drive change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop partnerships with internal stakeholders to engage and collaborate on tactical and strategic tasks, adding value through an IKEA holistic approach.
  • Provide consultancy to internal stakeholders for license management, delivering high-quality services.
  • Drive continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and methodologies across the IKEA Digital community.
  • Monitor and analyze data for cost-saving opportunities, optimal license utilization, and risk mitigation recommendations.
  • Manage and maintain software catalog governance in collaboration with Service Management.
Requirements
  • Experience in coordinating, managing, and optimizing software licensing agreements and compliance.
  • Knowledge of licensing models across vendors for entitlements and reconciliation activities.
  • A good understanding of the application lifecycle process flow and license models and metrics.
  • The courage to question existing solutions and think in unconventional ways.
  • Great communication skills and empathy to coordinate within your network.
  • Ability to act in a fast-paced, changing environment.
