Alexander McQueen is a renowned British luxury fashion house founded by Lee Alexander McQueen in 1992. As a subsidiary of the Kering Group, the brand has been under the creative direction of Seán McGirr since December 2023.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Team Manager to join our team at Alexander McQueen in Roermond. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for maximizing team performance to achieve store targets and goals. Your primary focus will be on people management and development, empowering and equipping the team to deliver exceptional service culture and client experience.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Store Manager in developing and implementing business plans, analyzing departmental performances, and proposing relevant action plans.
- Drive team performance to exceed financial targets and maximize sales performances, contributing to the success of the entire store.
- Represent the Company within the local market, identifying opportunities to increase foot flow, attract new clients, and build loyal relationships with the brand.
- Monitor team performance and propose action plans to reach targets.
- Ensure team members develop full product knowledge through specific training, staying aware of market trends and competitors.
- Collaborate with local and regional corporate functions on product, visual merchandising, and customer relationship management to maximize sales in line with House guidelines.
- Lead and inspire the team in executing superior client experience on the shop floor and during client appointments.
- Develop a client engagement mindset to build long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Lead the execution of clienteling activities with the store team, developing actions and initiatives to reach goals and KPIs.
- Proactively manage customer complaints to maintain positive client relationships.
- Ensure omnichannel awareness among the team and coach them in using digital tools to improve client relationships and achieve business objectives.
- Promote a positive and professional team environment that fosters trust, respect, and superior performance standards, leading by example and in line with the House Code of Behaviours.
- Empower team members to be their best selves, promoting team spirit through effective communication and a positive environment.
- Encourage information exchange within the team and develop morning briefings on specific topics.
- Stay close to the team on the shop floor, being aware of what's happening.
- Provide support and ongoing feedback to client advisors to ensure their development, motivation, and sense of belonging.
- Conduct regular performance conversations with the team to discuss results and develop action plans.
- Train and inspire the team on product knowledge, sales techniques, client services, and Company policies and procedures.
- Identify talents within the team to propose for internal development opportunities, sharing proposals with the Store Manager to define development processes.
- Guarantee team development through coaching and follow-ups on individual action plans.
- Demonstrate the desired Alexander McQueen behaviours.
- Significant team sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industries.
- Proven ability to drive store performance.
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen, including key retail performance indicators.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
