Sterilization Equipment Specialist

At Applied Medical, we value your passion for delivering exceptional patient care, customer satisfaction, and community engagement. As a Sterilization Operator, you will play a critical role in our organization by ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our sterilization equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the sterilization process and equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of sterilization equipment and troubleshoot issues to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Handle and move products throughout the sterilization process, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Verify the configuration adequacy of incoming goods to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following safety rules and company policies.
  • Notify the Sterilization Engineer of any equipment issues or concerns.
  • Document all steps in the sterilization process according to established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including machinery, work areas, toolboxes, and floors.
  • Ensure effective communication during shift transfers to ensure seamless operations.
