About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in Rotterdam.

As a key member of our finance organization, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and reliable financial records for one or several Lineage entities in the Netherlands or Belgium.

You will work closely with colleagues from Accounts Payable and Revenue Accounting within the Shared Service Center, ensuring seamless financial administration and compliance with relevant accounting rules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle month-end closing for your entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform periodic reconciliations of general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Take ownership of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and compliant entries.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancing efficiency and record reliability.
  • Assist with year-end closing and annual audit, collaborating with the external accountant.
  • File VAT returns and maintain personnel-related bookings, such as vacation day provisions and personnel hiring costs.
  • Oversee intercompany reconciliations for your entities, ensuring accurate and compliant records.
Requirements
  • At least HBO (higher professional education, Bachelor level) degree.
  • Knowledge of automated financial data processing and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Experience with Workday Finance is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
