As a Duty Management Trainee at Hotel Okura, you will have the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the hotel industry. You will work closely with various departments, including front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage, to develop your skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, concierge, and room service.
- Participate in cross-training programs to learn about different hotel departments and their functions.
- Develop problem-solving skills by addressing guest complaints and concerns.
- Contribute to the creation of Duty Reports to ensure smooth handovers to management.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
- Provide exceptional guest service and ensure a positive experience for all guests.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a hotel management program or related field.
- Previous experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Fluency in Dutch and English (oral and written).
