Senior People Leader

Lely is a leading international company and one of the largest robot producers in the Netherlands, revolutionizing the dairy farming industry with cutting-edge robotics and data systems. We are seeking an experienced HR Director to elevate HR to the next level, develop a long-term HR strategy in line with the business goals and enhance international HR business partnering. As a strategic sparring partner to Senior Management, Director group and Executive Board on people strategy and tactical issues, you will lead the HR in people services, payroll, compensation & benefits, project management, HR business partnering, the Lely Academy, and talent acquisition.

• Develop and implement an HR strategy in line with the business goals
• Lead the HR team in people services, payroll, compensation & benefits, project management, HR business partnering, the Lely Academy, and talent acquisition
• Act as a strategic sparring partner to Senior Management, Director group and Executive Board on people strategy and tactical issues
• Proven experience in developing and implementing an HR strategy in line with the business goals
• Strong leadership qualities in professionalizing HR, engaging and building strong and senior HR teams and guiding them to reach their full potential
• Business acumen and ability to take initiative and ownership
• Strong communication and organizational skills and able to work independently
• Able to be present at the office in Maassluis at least 3/4 days a week and willingness to travel abroad occasionally

• Academic thinking- and working level with an extensive experience in a senior People role
• Experience in an international setting is preferred and some experience of working in a large family company would be a welcomed addition
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and to changing conditions and priorities
• Broad but also deep knowledge and expertise in the people related areas relevant for Lely such as organizational design, leadership development, talent management, learning & development, talent acquisition, succession planning, D&I, HR analytics, HR operations/SSC, HR systems, rewards, CLA and HR business partnering and deep knowledge of HR laws and regulations
• Experience with Culture Amp tool is an advantage
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written
