Job Opportunity

The Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Erasmus MC is seeking a highly motivated assistant professor to establish a new research line in the intersection of statistics, causal inference, and machine learning. This position focuses on research, teaching, and consulting activities, and the successful candidate will contribute to the department's innovative statistical and machine-learning methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a new research line in statistical machine learning and causal inference.

Requirements

  • PhD degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Terms of Employment

  • Temporary position for 3 years with a maximum gross monthly salary of €7,232.
  • Excellent fringe benefits, including a 13th month payment and individual travel expense package.
  • Pension insurance with ABP.
