">MUFG is a leading global financial institution, striving to be the world's most trusted financial group. As a Senior Auditor in our Internal Audit Division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of our risk management systems and internal controls.
">As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for executing internal audit engagements within the audit team, adhering to our robust audit methodology and providing formal sign-offs of key documents and processes within an audit file. Your audits will form part of a risk-based audit plan, providing independent assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of our internal control and risk management systems, advising senior management, and contributing to a sound control environment.
">The role includes:
- Providing independent assurance to management regarding risks related to our activities in line with agreed business objectives, in accordance with relevant internal and external requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with our rules, policies, procedures, and guidelines as well as all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Autonomously working on components of audit assignments under the direct oversight of the audit manager, producing accurate and complete audit working papers with minimum need for rework, applying the relevant components of our applicable audit methodology, and in accordance with international Internal Audit standards.
- Supporting with occasional ad-hoc requests from management or the Chief Auditor.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
">Skills and experience:
- Two to five years of practical experience in the financial services industry preferred.
- An up-to-date understanding of the industry, regulatory changes, pertinent economic and political factors that may impact our business and strategy.
- A high level of personal independence and a strong ability to critically challenge information and the status quo, with good communication skills to engage with senior management and other stakeholders across the bank on a regular basis, and complex problem-solving skills.
- Experience in internal control, risk management, and/or internal audit processes.
- Completed or on track to obtain a professional qualification in audit (e.g., RO/CIA/CA/ACCA).
- Verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, with an understanding of the Japanese and Dutch language and cultures across continental Europe being preferred.

We offer a competitive gross salary based on experience, consistent with the market ($80,000 - $110,000 per year), 8% holiday allowance, 13th month payment, 30 vacation days per year, commuting allowance based on public transport 2nd class with a maximum of 50 kilometers, remote working possibilities, a pension scheme with an employee contribution of 2% (max 5%), training budget and development possibilities paid by the bank, and collective premiums (for own expenses) for health insurance.
