The Role: SQE Manager for Doors

This senior role oversees and manages safety, quality, and environmental activities within the Doors division, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The SQE Manager drives continuous improvement in safety, quality, and environmental performance and supports leadership in implementing best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Our SQE Manager will focus on three main areas:

Safety Management
  • Implement, maintain, and improve the safety management system, prioritizing worker, user, and third-party safety.
  • Develop and implement safety objectives, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate ownership of safety by setting a positive example and fostering a culture of safety.
  • Provide expert support, drive management commitment, and encourage active worker participation.
  • Establish and manage safety committees and forums.
  • Participate in global safety team meetings and contribute to safety initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve safety documentation, monitoring its usage and effectiveness.
  • Initiate and implement programs to enhance safety performance.
  • Support crisis and emergency response planning and development.
Quality Management
  • Develop and implement quality management systems and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections.
  • Manage incident investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with customers and partners to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Promote quality as part of our corporate strategy and proactive quality culture.
Environmental Management
  • Implement and maintain environmental management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits.
  • Develop and implement programs to reduce environmental impact.
  • Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics.
  • Promote environmental awareness and best practices within our organization.
Requirements

To succeed in this challenging role, you should have:

  • A Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in safety, quality, or environmental management, preferably in the industrial sector.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and the local language.
