Salary and Benefits

The salary for this internship position is estimated at €32,500 per annum, based on a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. In addition to the internship fee of €650 gross per month, you will also enjoy 2 vacation days per month and have your commuting expenses fully reimbursed if you do not have a student OV product.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Commerce, Professional and Business Services team as a Marketing Procurement Intern. As a valued member of our team, you will be working within the Marketing Services department and primarily supporting the ATL Creative and Production category. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Translating Global strategies into market plans with the Global Category Managers
  • Liaising with stakeholders in HGP (Heineken Global Procurement) and Commerce (Marketing Teams mainly) and Markets Globally
  • Leading your own projects
  • Supporting the teams in document writing and presentation
  • Developing an understanding of the ATL Creative and Production category

You will be part of the Procurement department, but we do not expect procurement background or studies specifically. Our key stakeholders are Marketing teams, Markets, and Agencies. Please note that there are no Marketing tasks involved such as brand or media planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who has a willingness to learn and develop their skills and capabilities across communication, commercial, contracts, sustainability, and innovation. The ideal candidate should:

  • Be currently studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Have strong English language skills
  • Be proficient in using general office tools (Microsoft)
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work with various stakeholders
  • Have a comfortable working style, both independently and as a team player
  • Have a strong personality with the ability to work and adapt in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Have excellent analytical skills

To be eligible for this internship, you must meet the following conditions:

  • You are enrolled at an educational institution
  • In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution
  • Living in the Netherlands during the internship (Heineken does not facilitate housing)
