Lamex Foods Europe, based in Doetinchem, is a dynamic organization with a dedicated team of 20 employees.

The office emphasizes teamwork and collaboration, working closely with both suppliers and customers.

The technical and product development teams are in constant communication with their Bangkok office, which handles 80% of the production.

The Doetinchem office is involved in plant audits, quality assurance programs, and new product development.

Job Description:

Lamex Foods Europe is seeking a dedicated QA and Compliance Officer to join the Quality Department in Doetinchem.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team while managing a diverse range of responsibilities.

As a key member of the Quality Department, you will work closely with the teams in Bangkok and London, ensuring seamless communication and adherence to quality standards.

You will also collaborate with a team of experts, including five food technologists based in Bangkok.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and ensure compliance with the quality management system, including managing the annual audit process to achieve Lamex BV's yearly BRC Agents and Brokers and IFS Broker certificates
  • Track the renewal of certificates and maintain up-to-date quality system documentation
  • Monitor regulatory changes and implement new requirements, including supporting import/export activities and adhering to labeling requirements
  • Provide support for customer requirements, such as traceability data, quality-related documentation, certifications, and specifications
  • Offer assistance with compliance and manage the product information database or online portal as needed
  • Coordinate packaging and labeling with suppliers and customers to ensure that products meet both customer requirements and the laws and regulations of the destination country
  • Coordinate with laboratories for necessary analyses and sample testing. Conduct supplier inspections and internal audits
  • Manage customer complaints and non-conformities
