About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Data Governance Architect Lead to spearhead our data governance initiatives and drive strategic alignment across the organization. As a key member of our Data & AI Governance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data governance framework that ensures the accuracy, completeness, and security of our data assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust data governance strategy aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Lead the development of a data catalog and inventory, ensuring accurate and up-to-date metadata management.
- Define and enforce data quality standards, including data validation, cleansing, and normalization.
- Design and implement data security controls, including access controls, encryption, and auditing.
- Establish a culture of data governance throughout the organization, promoting data literacy and awareness among stakeholders.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in data governance, architecture, or related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful data governance programs.
- Strong understanding of data management concepts, including data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to navigate complex technical and business issues.
