About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Specialist to join our team at Tata Steel. As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for specifying installations in investment projects to comply with environmental permits and workplace sound requirements. You will also provide advice in all stages of a project, design and/or specify soundproof equipment, conduct sound and vibration measurements, and serve as a knowledge repository and point of contact for factories regarding sound and vibration issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Specify installations in investment projects to comply with environmental permits and workplace sound requirements.
- Provide advice in all stages of a project.
- Design and/or specify soundproof equipment such as silencers, vibration isolation, and enclosures.
- Conduct various sound and vibration measurements or develop technical concepts to improve the sound and vibration situation.
- Serve as a knowledge repository and point of contact for factories regarding sound and vibration issues.
We offer a competitive salary, 10% fixed allowances per year, and a variable profit-sharing scheme. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the flexible hours scheme, which allows you to save time off and gain extra days off per year. Additionally, you will receive excellent secondary employment conditions, including a contribution to your health insurance and an expense allowance.

We are embarking on ambitious programs to transition from coal to hydrogen for the production of raw iron, implement Tailored Agreements with the government, and innovate in new advanced steel types and assets. Requirements:- Completed education at wo/hbo level in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics, or similar.
- Demonstrable experience with large industrial installations and working in project teams.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and design and implement practical solutions.
- Strong motivation to (further) develop in the field.
- Analytical, persuasive, and good listening skills.
