Your Role
As a dedicated Product Designer, you will tackle intricate challenges and create applications that enhance the work experience for our employees. This is an opportunity to be part of a diverse team at our headquarters, making a tangible impact in a rapidly growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary objective is to empower Picnic employees, enabling them to deliver exceptional service to our customers. You will:
- Assume design ownership of products, supporting users ranging from order pickers to operational managers and delivery personnel.
- Lead the interaction design of various products.
- Navigate complex systems to provide effective, user-centered solutions that meet both human and business needs.
- Conduct qualitative user research to inform design decisions, frequently evaluating your work with real users.
- Manage projects from problem analysis to UI details and documentation, showcasing your comprehensive design skills.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure optimal UX implementation.
- Engage in continuous learning and growth through feedback and mentorship from experienced UX designers and researchers.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of our design libraries and systems.
- Continuously explore new ideas, as design is an ongoing process.
About You
You are a passionate designer with a keen eye for detail and a drive for excellence. You thrive in environments where your designs are rapidly developed and tested against real-world scenarios. Your qualifications include:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in product design.
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant design discipline.
- A portfolio showcasing user-centered design projects with clear explanations.
- Experience in designing for B2B or enterprise applications is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A strong enthusiasm for conducting user research and testing prototypes.
- Proficiency in Figma and a solid understanding of UI concept sketching.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Eligibility to work in the EU.
