What will be your responsibilities?

In this position, you will undertake the following tasks:

  • As a Senior Engineer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic project teams dedicated to the construction of luxury yachts, reporting directly to the Lead Engineer.
  • Your focus will be on a specific technical discipline, with particular emphasis on Outfit and Systems. Your primary expertise will guide the assignment to the appropriate discipline.
  • You will be engaged in converting conceptual designs into actionable production information, including engineering documents and specifications tailored for various technical production areas. Key engineering objectives include Basic Engineering, Detail Engineering, and Production Support.
  • Assigned to a project, you will compile all necessary specifications for the yacht, ensuring compliance with relevant norms, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Your role will involve analyzing and interpreting the naval design package and its prerequisites, preparing comprehensive basic and detailed multidisciplinary technical drawings and specifications for procurement and subcontracting.
  • With a strong focus on quality, you will plan and organize your work effectively to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.

What qualifications are required?

  • A degree from a Higher Vocational Education or Secondary Vocational Education program (MBO+) with relevant work experience in the respective discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably within the maritime or yacht construction sectors.
  • You should possess competencies in quality orientation, planning and organization, and effective communication.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset is essential.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, AutoCAD, and/or Rhinoceros is expected.
  • A strong command of written and spoken English is necessary.
