Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lading Inspector to join our team in Rotterdam. As a Lading Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting the liquid cargo of ships, tank trucks, land tanks, and wagons, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect the liquid cargo of ships, tank trucks, land tanks, and wagons to ensure compliance with international standards and regulations.
  • Take samples of the cargo for analysis by our laboratory team.
  • Perform purity inspections and conduct various measurements and quantity calculations.
  • Collaborate with our laboratory team, customer service department, coordinators, and other Lading Inspectors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Communicate with clients and terminals to ensure efficient cargo handling.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid driver's license (B) and reside in the Spijkenisse area.
  • Have knowledge and experience with petrochemical products.
  • Be enthusiastic, energetic, and committed to safe working practices.
  • Have a good command of the Dutch and English languages.
  • Be proficient in using computer software and Microsoft Office.
  • Hold a valid VCA certificate or be willing to obtain one.
