The Trade Compliance Analyst II role is pivotal in ensuring that our import and export activities comply with the regulations set forth by Customs authorities and other relevant governmental entities. This position serves as a key contact for inquiries and escalations from various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement import/export procedures related to broker and agent management, including oversight of broker performance metrics and daily operations.
- Conduct post-entry audits and transactional reviews as part of the Danaher Self-Testing process.
- Maintain comprehensive trade compliance recordkeeping.
- Release trade compliance holds on shipments for escalated transactions.
- Coordinate and prepare applications for trade compliance import or export licenses, ensuring proper utilization and closure.
- Manage trade data classification, country of origin, and partner government agency information at regional levels to facilitate compliant customs releases.
- Assist in the development and execution of customs valuation declaration processes or reconciliation programs.
- Collect data and manage elements related to Free Trade Agreements to ensure adherence to company policies.
- Support government audits as necessary.
- Assist in the implementation of trade automation software related to compliance.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other third-party service providers to ensure compliance with established procedures.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable regional regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of direct experience in import and export operations.
- Strong knowledge and interpretation skills regarding European import and export regulations.
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Understanding of global supply chain and logistics processes.
On-Site Requirement:
This role necessitates an on-site presence for a minimum of three days per week.
