Pipefitter Specialist

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge and experience in pipefitting, including reading and interpreting technical drawings, determining materials and tools, and performing repairs and maintenance.
• Good understanding of different pipe materials, such as steel, copper, PVC, and plastic, and the ability to identify suitable materials for specific applications.
• Ability to follow strict safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment, to prevent injuries and accidents.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in piping systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform heavy work, including prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and be flexible in the work.

About the Job Function

As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining piping systems for the transportation of fluids, gases, and other materials. You will also be responsible for welding metal parts and structures, and shaping and sizing metal parts to the desired form.
