R&D Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead our Silicones Research and Development team. As a key member of our global R&D organization, you will be responsible for managing research projects from concept development to commercialization.
Key Responsibilities- Manage research projects: Develop new silicone-based polymers and emulsions for various markets and applications.
- Document and report: Prepare technical packages, presentations, and ensure accurate documentation of all relevant activities.
- Business advice and stakeholder engagement: Provide specialist advice to internal and external customers, identify their needs/issues/concerns, and react to these.
You will have close contact with other internal departments to explore opportunities together and stay ahead of competitors.
About the TeamThe team is based at our European R&D Centre in the Netherlands, with 6 colleagues who speak English as the primary language.
About YouWe are looking for a self-starter with a strong chemical background, leadership skills, and a strategic vision. You should be able to build strong relationships within R&D, sales, and customers, understand both the technical and commercial aspects.
- 3+ years of experience in project and people leadership in an international environment;
- Degree in organic chemistry or related education, supplemented by work experience in organic chemistry;
- Proficiency in English (written and oral), knowledge of Dutch beneficial;
- Excellent communication skills and cross-collaboration spirit;
