MAC Cosmetics Store Manager Opportunity

At MAC Cosmetics, we are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Retail Manager to lead our team of makeup artists in Amsterdam. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coaching, developing, and motivating your team to exceed client expectations and achieve sales targets.

This is an exceptional opportunity to be the Chief Executive Officer of your own store, with total accountability for creating and executing a business plan to recruit and retain customers through strategic targeting, impactful in-store events, and exceptional customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of makeup artists
  • Develop and execute a business plan to achieve sales targets and exceed client expectations
  • Recruit and retain customers through strategic targeting and impactful in-store events
  • Provide inspirational leadership and coaching to a high-performing creative sales team
  • Previous business planning experience, including setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership, coaching, and business management skills gained in a fast-paced environment, preferably within beauty
  • Makeup artistry experience is a plus
  • Passionate about makeup and up to date with the latest makeup trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of creating and executing in-store events
  • Prepared to work flexibly during store hours, including evenings, weekends, and during special events
  • Languages: Dutch and English
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale and Microsoft Office software
