We are seeking a highly skilled Business Consultant to join our Finance & Risk Data Domain team at ABN Amro. As a Business Consultant, you will play a critical role in sourcing and integrating financial data from various stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand financial product requirements and develop functional mappings to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Investigate data quality issues and recommend improvements to sourcing instructions and quality checks.
  • Work with Scrum/DevOps teams to develop and implement data solutions, ensuring alignment with our Federated Data Governance Model.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with data owners and users to ensure effective data sourcing and management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data management, including sourcing, transformation, and data lineage.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in a data domain, preferably in Finance Reporting or Risk Management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data quality and recommend improvements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of data management, including sourcing, transformation, and data lineage.
  • Experience with PowerBI and SQL is a plus.
