Pricing Strategist

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pricing Strategist Intern to assist in researching value-based pricing tools and constructing a compelling business case for the optimal solution. This position will support our Protective Materials Business unit, based at our office in the Netherlands.

• Analyze current pricing strategy and operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Investigate emerging technologies and market leaders in value-based pricing tools to bring operational processes to a new level.
• Engage with external companies providing pricing solutions, arrange demos, and understand how their tools operate.
• Connect with internal stakeholders, including sales, business directors, and marketing managers, to understand their needs and requirements.
• Develop various scenarios to evaluate possible impacts on the business using potential value-based pricing tools.
• Construct a comprehensive business case for the most suitable value-based pricing tool.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A master's program in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong financial capabilities with a background in finance (minor or major in bachelor's studies).
• Proficient analytical skills to analyze and understand pricing strategies and processes.
• Research skills to conduct thorough research into emerging pricing AI solutions and market trends.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with senior-level stakeholders and external vendors.
• Fast learning agility to quickly grasp new concepts and tools.
