Job Title: Data Center Technician

About the Role:

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team in Amsterdam. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for the design, operation, and maintenance of our data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data center infrastructure, including rack and stack equipment, structured cabling, and hardware installation.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation of data center services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for hardware technologies and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and apply them to improve data center operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure support and server administration in a mid-sized environment (200-1000+ server systems).
  • Strong understanding of hardware repair, diagnosis, and break/fix.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
