Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Serre Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing diverse dishes to the highest standards, conducting mise en place activities, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare dishes according to established standards, recipes, and planning to ensure exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Oversee all areas of the kitchen, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct mise en place activities, including food preparation, storage, and inventory management.
  • Develop new menu items and contribute to the culinary team's creative process.
  • Train and advise colleagues and trainees on kitchen procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as hotel policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • A strong background in culinary arts, with relevant work experience in a distinguished company.

  • Fluency in English and/or Dutch, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.
