Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Oracle Database Administrator to help on database related support services, customer reporting and documentation, and participate in executing change requests. The ideal candidate is a proactive person who enjoys working in teams and is willing to learn on a continuous basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote support to customers operating globally, working closely with our delivery centers in the Netherlands, Spain, and Czech Republic.
  • Administer complex Oracle databases, including backup and restore procedures, SQL Language, and database configuration.
  • Perform performance tuning of databases, work with and configure high availability solutions, and troubleshoot database issues.
  • Experience with Oracle ExaData and OCI Cloud is appreciated, as well as deeper knowledge of Linux/UNIX/aix configurations.
  • SQL Server administration skills are a benefit.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and preferably Spanish language, both orally and written. Knowledge of additional foreign languages is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in administrating complex Oracle databases.
  • Great organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to work according to procedures and policies and report clear and precise.
  • Stress-resistant, self-motivated, flexible, eager to learn, a hard worker, and accurate.
