We are seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the transportation of goods to ensure timely delivery to our distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation Planning: Develop and implement transportation plans to meet customer demands and ensure on-time delivery.
- Route Optimization: Analyze and optimize routes to reduce transportation costs and improve delivery times.
- Carrier Management: Manage relationships with carriers to ensure reliable and efficient transportation services.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in transportation planning or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and project management skills.
