Laboratory Assistant

QPS Netherlands is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Support Technician to join our team in Groningen. As a Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in the success of our laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute bioanalysis studies, method development, method qualification, validation, and miscellaneous studies under the supervision of a Senior Project Technician, Senior Research Technician, or Scientist.
• Perform operational tasks such as reagent preparation, calibration sample preparation, and quality control sample preparation.
• Process samples using various techniques and document daily work.
• Execute project-related technical tasks, including equipment operation and maintenance, sample analysis, and data processing.
• Process analytical results, interpret data, and control proceedings.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth laboratory operations and contribute to the development of new procedures and protocols.

Requirements:

• Secondary Vocational Education level 3 (MBO 3) in life sciences or equivalent.
• No prior work experience is required, but relevant experience will be considered.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
