Container Terminal Optimization Specialist

Maersk is seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team at APM Terminals Maasvlakte II. As a key member of our optimization team, you will play a crucial role in securing and improving the productivity of our terminal while expanding its capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will become an expert in TOS, ECS, and ATT/FMS applications and integrations.
  • You will analyze and optimize system behavior, providing solutions to improve terminal efficiency.
  • You will maintain and document interface specifications, ensuring seamless software integration.
  • You will contribute to the overall application architecture, advising on scalability and simplification.
  • You will create test plans and execute tests, ensuring new equipment and software meet our standards.
  • You will serve as a bridge between technical and business aspects, driving project success.
  • You will perform log analysis and discuss findings with vendors.

We are looking for you because you have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in container terminal-specific systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience as an application expert is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • Programming skills are a plus.
  • Experience with agile project management is a plus.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
