Electronics Test Designer

As a key member of our team at Sioux Technologies, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing comprehensive test strategies for our cutting-edge electronics.

Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct electronics verification and validation activities
  • Document results and follow up on issues
  • Enhance test techniques for both R&D and production environments
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and lead electronics testing
  • Mentor and support junior engineers
  • Establish and manage test infrastructures, documentation, and applications
  • Conduct and supervise accelerated life testing and environmental tests
  • Manage test-related budgets and participate in cost reduction efforts
  • Take ownership of the entire testing lifecycle
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electronics
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics verification and validation within the high-tech industry
  • Skilled in using and developing test setups with oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and automated test equipment
  • Familiarity with temperature, pressure, and vibration tests, including relevant standards and documentation
  • Understanding of verification according to standards and regulations for complex systems
  • Proficient with tools like LabVIEW, Keysight VEE, and Test-OK
  • Experience in Python and Matlab
  • Knowledgeable about quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa
