System Architect Dynamics

We are seeking a highly skilled System Architect Dynamics to join our team at VDL ETG Technology & Development. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing dynamic systems that meet the performance and functional requirements of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Define dynamic requirements for modules/systems based on performance specifications.
- Define requirements for analyses (analytical or experimental) to be performed to make dynamic performance prediction/validation.
- Perform necessary calculations/tests and interpret implications of results adequately for dynamic performance prediction/validation.
- Clearly communicate evidence-backed results in a simplified manner to stakeholders from other technical and non-technical domains.
- Steer design changes with a practical mindset to meet/improve dynamic performance of systems.
- Proactively contribute to the organization's dynamics competence development program.
- University master's degree with a mechanical/mechatronics background & a minimum of 3-7 years experience on vibration sensitive systems or PhD with aforementioned specialization/experience with some years of experience.
- Good understanding of machine dynamics.
- Experience in topics such as dynamic substructuring, multibody dynamics, vibration isolation, passive/active damping, modal analysis & vibrometry is a plus.
- Experience with analysis and testing to understand dynamics of vibration sensitive machines required.
- Demonstrated history of experience with FEM (ANSYS, COMSOL, Nastran, etc), CAD (NX, Solidworks, etc.) and computational (MATLAB, Python, Simulink, etc.) tools required.
- Experience in independently managing complex analysis while working independently or in a team.
- Demonstrated history of being a quick learner and practicing analytical, critical and practical thinking.
