Metal Fabrication Specialist

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in metal fabrication? We have an exciting opportunity for a Welder MIG/MAG to join our team at AB Vakwerk in Gorredijk. As a Welder MIG/MAG, you will play a crucial part in the production of underground waste bins, working closely with our team to ensure high-quality products.
About the role:
- Welding and assembling parts together to create underground waste bins
- Working from drawings to understand which parts need to be welded together
- Collaborating with the coating department to apply a protective layer to the elements
- Occasionally assisting in other departments, such as hanging parts for coating or assembling final products
Requirements:
- Experience in welding and reading basic technical drawings
- Ability to speak simple English or Dutch at a basic level
- Willingness to occasionally perform other tasks, such as assembly work
What we offer:
- Gross salary between €14.25 and €16.00 depending on experience
- Travel allowance of €0.19 per kilometer
- Long-term employment in day shifts

Working with us:
As a Welder MIG/MAG at AB Vakwerk, you will be part of a team of approximately 30 colleagues working together to create functional, safe, and attractive public spaces. You will receive thorough training to become familiar with your tasks and will work day shifts from 07:30 to 16:00, ensuring you are home on time every day with weekends off.
