About the Role

Catawiki Collectables is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to drive growth in the Benelux market. This role will be based in Amsterdam, working closely with the team lead and the rest of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop strategies to capitalize on these insights.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage seller interactions, track performance metrics, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement in the seller portfolio.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and manage contracts with key accounts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements and long-term partnerships.
  • Develop deep knowledge of sellers' needs and educate them on fulfilling key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reserve price optimization and adherence to quality guidelines.
  • Establish medium and long-term strategic growth plans for assigned sellers, aligning closely with Category Managers and Sales Directors.
  • Regularly present progress updates to senior Collectables management and peers, ensuring transparent communication on the performance of accounts.
  • Partner with experts to accelerate the growth of sellers, fostering lasting relationships through various communication channels.
  • Lead commercial strategies within the territory, collaborating with experts to set up sales meetings and drive meaningful action items.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, explaining commercial processes, main KPIs, and data to translate into actionable insights.
  • Educate sellers on driving a positive customer experience to buyers, ensuring a seamless transaction process.
  • Translate new opportunities into commercial actions, contributing to the continuous growth and success of Catawiki.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales/account management.
  • Excellent communication skills, regardless of channel.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Nurture strategic relationships with top sellers, demonstrating a deep understanding of the company and sellers' needs.
  • Possess a strategic mindset to drive growth and excellence in the marketplace.
  • Skilled in negotiation to secure profitable deals and partnerships.
  • Autonomous and organized, with a passion for collectables.
  • Open to regular travel to meet top sellers in Benelux.
  • Based in or close to Amsterdam.
  • Capable of using Google tools and analyzing data; experience with HubSpot is a plus.
