Design Manager RoleWe are looking for an experienced Design Manager (MCF/Data Centres) to join our Global Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) team. As a Design Manager, you will work with some of the most demanding customers in the world and collaborate with our global colleagues.
You will use 3D design tools to deliver detailed and high-quality solutions for our MCF projects. Your main responsibilities include:
- Managing scope-of-work, design budget and contract documents for each project;
- FOLLOWING AND UPDATING DESIGN DELIVERY SCHEDULE AND DISTRIBUTING WORKLOAD WITHIN TEAM;
- CORDINATING AND OPTIMIZING DESIGN WITH MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM AND EXTERNAL PARTIES;
- LEADING AND CHALLENGING DESIGN SOLUTIONS AND CHANGES;
- CREATING AND COMMUNICATING INNOVATIVE IDEAS AND DESIGNS TO CLIENT AND TEAM.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, result-oriented, proactive individual with a positive flexible and problem-solving attitude. You should have:
- A Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
- Over 5 years of experience managing multidisciplinary design, engineering, and construction projects, preferably in data centres or other relevant sectors;
- An affinity with digital and automated design and engineering processes (BIM360, CDE);
- Good knowledge of standard practices in the design and construction industry, and a good understanding of the daily (operational) business of clients;
- Excellent communication skills towards colleagues and clients, and is fluent in English (and preferably Dutch and/or German).

- A good primary salary of approximately €90,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience;
