Riedel Communications is a leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports, and entertainment sectors. Our Managed Technology division offers a comprehensive service from project planning to on-site implementation for international live events.

We are seeking an experienced Event Technician to join our team. As an Event Technician, you will be responsible for designing and supervising projects in the field of event technology, setting up, programming, and checking radio systems and communication equipment on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and supervise projects in the field of event technology
• Set up, program, and check radio systems and communication equipment on site
• Prepare, set up, and implement equipment
• Perform routine troubleshooting at the assembly level and prepare technical reporting

Requirements:

• Successfully completed technical training (e.g., mechatronics technician, event technician, electronics technician for devices and systems, IT technician, or communications electronics technician)
• Technical interest in dealing with radio, intercom, audio, and/or IT technology
• Initial professional experience in the field of broadcast and/or event technology is an advantage
• High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel to exciting events around the world
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to changing situations, excellent attention to detail, and work at the highest level of excellence
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills
• Enjoy the holistic implementation of projects
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English (other foreign languages are an advantage)
