About the Role
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in upholding the highest standards of safety, health, quality, and environmental practices across our offshore wind operations. As a QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing QHSE policies and procedures on offshore wind projects, conducting regular safety audits and inspections, and providing safety leadership and guidance to field crews.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring QHSE policies and procedures are implemented and enforced on all offshore wind projects.
- Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
- Providing training and guidance to field crews to ensure safe working practices are followed.
- Developing and implementing effective risk management strategies to mitigate operational hazards.
- Collaborating with project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., occupational health and safety, environmental science).
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., GWO, NEBOSH, BOSIET).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QHSE roles, preferably in the offshore wind sector.
- Proven track record of improving QHSE performance in a similar role.
